We are pleased to present the Report of the 3rd Tanzania Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Conference, held from 17th–20th September 2024 in Zanzibar. The conference convened monitoring and evaluation professionals, government representatives, development partners, researchers, and practitioners to share knowledge, experiences, and innovations that strengthen monitoring, evaluation, and learning systems in Tanzania. The main theme, “Transforming Service Delivery with Technology-Driven Monitoring and Evaluation: Building a Culture of Evidence-Based Decision Making,” highlighted the growing importance of digital tools and data systems in improving governance and public service delivery.
This report captures the key presentations, discussions, and recommendations that emerged during the conference. It emphasizes the role of technology in enhancing data collection, analysis, and reporting to support more informed and effective decision-making processes.
