Report of the 2nd National Monitoring and Evaluation Week Conference 2023

We are pleased to present the Report of the 2nd National Monitoring and Evaluation Week Conference, held from 12th–15th September 2023 in Arusha, Tanzania. The conference brought together government officials, monitoring and evaluation professionals, development partners, and stakeholders from various sectors to exchange knowledge and strengthen collaboration in advancing monitoring, evaluation, and learning practices in the country. The main theme, “Strengthening Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning for Improving Government Performance,” reflects the President’s vision of enhancing government efficiency and improving service delivery to citizens through effective use of evidence and performance tracking.

This report was prepared by the Prime Minister’s Office – Policy, Parliament and Coordination, located at Government City, Mtumba in Dodoma.
