Knowledge/Information Management and Communication Intern
Responsibilities
Assist the Secretariat in preparatory work for designing an Online Library and Documentation Centre
Search, design, build the online library and documentation centre in addition to uploading the right content as and when required by the Secretariat and ensure the content is of interest to the TanEA community
Maintain and keep up to-date the Online Library and Documentation Centre;
Collect user requirements (regularly) in order to advise TanEA on the new requirements of users.
Liaise with the service providers who will be hosting the Online Library to ensure smooth running of the Online Library and Documentation Centre.
Manage all communications relating to implementation of the Online Library and Documentation Centre;
Compile Statistics of usage and prepare monthly reports on the whole operations of the online library and documentation centre;
Provide administrative and logistical supports to related workshops or meetings; and
Other tasks as requested by TanEA.
Qualifications
Graduate degree in relevant specialized field such as social science, development studies, knowledge and information management, etc;
Computer proficiency including web-based applications, MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required;
Experience with database creation and management, development of graphs, charts in excel and PowerPoint is highly desirable;
Experience in monitoring and evaluation is an advantage;
Fluent in English with excellent oral and written communication skills.
